This policy explains how Tyler Waugh, trading through EarlyBird SEO ("we", "us"), handles personal information collected via tylerwaugh.com.au. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Contact form: your first name, email address, the service area you select, and optionally your website URL and message.
- Analytics: we use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type). This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
- Spam protection: the contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which collects device and interaction signals to distinguish humans from bots, subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and discuss SEO services.
- To understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- To protect the site and our inbox from spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
Contact form submissions are delivered to us by email. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. Service providers that process data on our behalf include:
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and processes requests.
- Google — analytics (GA4 via Tag Manager) and reCAPTCHA.
Some of these providers may store data outside Australia (typically in the United States).
Cookies
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics set cookies to measure site usage. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site works without them.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained for as long as needed to manage our relationship with you, then deleted. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first — if unresolved, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
